Constructed from premium Tool Steel, these cams are race-proven to deliver unmatched rigidity, stability, and reliability at sustained, extended RPM ranges.

The Twin Lobe Killer design modifies the VTEC system to use only the high-lift cam lobe, giving you a full-time aggressive profile necessary for competition.

  • Extreme Rigidity: Made from ALL NEW Tool Steel Material, providing superior stiffness over standard billet steel to maintain valvetrain stability at high engine speeds.
  • Reduced Valve Float: The rigid Tool Steel construction minimizes cam deflection, effectively reducing valve float and safeguarding your engine components.
  • Maximum NA Profile: These cams feature an extremely aggressive lift and duration, CNC ground on a state-of-the-art Landis Cam grinder to maximize airflow for peak naturally aspirated horsepower.
  • Twin Lobe Killer Design: Eliminates the complexity of the VTEC oil pressure system while retaining the factory rocker assembly geometry (with modification).

Camshaft Specifications and Requirements

 

The 002 Twin Lobe Killer profile is one of the most aggressive in the NA lineup and requires specific modifications and components.

  • Material: All-New Tool Steel Material
  • Intake Lobe Specs:

- Lift: 15.9 mm

- Duration @ 0.050": 0.284"

  • Exhaust Lobe Specs:

- Lift: 14.9 mm

- Duration @ 0.050": 0.282"

  • Included Components: Pins & Spacer Kit Included for the Twin Lobe conversion.

Installation Requirement (CRITICAL):

Rocker Modification: These cams require Machined Factory K20A2 Outer Rockers (modification or aftermarket rockers required) for proper clearance and function.

Installation Torque Specifications

Ensure precise and reliable installation by adhering to the following factory torque values:

  • Intake Cam Gear Bolt: 83 lb-ft
  • Exhaust Cam Gear Bolt: 51 lb-ft
  • Pulse Plates: 29 lb-ft
